Megan Jaffer

Megan Jaffer is the Co-Founder of Iron Butterfly Media and is the host of Iron Butterfly Podcast, the first podcast that shares real stories of women in intelligence. She is the co-founder of the Amazing Women of the IC (AWIC), which focuses on the development of professional women serving the US national security mission. Megan's background spans corporate, nonprofit, and government environments, and she has launched and led several nonprofits and organizations that support the national security community. Her passion is promoting the collaboration, leadership and mentorship of women and developing diverse communities of leaders.

Cadie Hopkins

Cadie Hopkins is the Co-Founder of Iron Butterfly Media and Co-Creator and Lead Producer of the Iron Butterfly Podcast. She has founded and led multiple organizations committed to the growth, mentorship, and empowerment of women across the national security community. She currently works at a start-up technology company serving the national security mission, and previously served as an intelligence analyst at Defense Intelligence Agency.

Amanda Young

Amanda Young is a Co-Producer on the Iron Butterfly Podcast. In her day job, Amanda works as an Analyst at a fast-growing start-up serving Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. She graduated from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey Bay where she studied National and International Security issues. Prior to attending MIIS, Amanda graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay conducted original research to understand the complex relationship between the American public and the United States Intelligence Community.

Gracie Richburg

Gracie is an aspiring PR professional, and manages Iron Butterfly Media’s marketing and social media presence, along with publishing the Butterfly Bulletin. She is currently studying Public Relations and Psychology at George Mason University and enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her big family in her free time.

Sarah Scully

Sarah Scully is a producer and host of The Women in the Arena Podcast housed under Iron Butterfly Media. In her day job, Sarah works as an Implementation Consultant for a software company in Wilmington, NC and runs a property management business. Sarah also leads operations for Sisters of Service, a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring refugee women in the United States that was created after the United States' withdrawal from Afghanistan. After spending six years as an Active Duty Army Officer, Sarah transitioned to the United States Army Reserves and channeled her passion for connecting with and empowering fellow women service members through the creation of The Women in the Arena Podcast.
